JAMES F. COFFEY
Managing Principal
Jim Coffey is an experienced legal practitioner. He began his practice in Boston in 1989 and since then has served his clients with considerable success. Jim is widely recognized as a leader in his field, and prides himself on a deep tradition of excellence, ensuring only the highest quality service. Jim understands the challenges and pressure that comes with every case, and he and his team are with you, every step of the way.
Dependable, calm, and well spoken, Jim adds the personal touch his clients deserve whilst approaching each new case with the attention it needs.
Jim was a Gerald L. Wallace Scholar at New York University School of Law where he received an LL.M. in Corporate Law. He received his J.D. from the New England School of Law, and his B.A., cum laude, from Providence College.Â

GEORGE W. BARKER, JR.

George Barker graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He worked as a software developer at Fidelity Investments, and later, as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management. George subsequently graduated from Suffolk University Law School, having interned at the United States Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, Rhode Island Department of the Attorney General, and United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. After clerking for the Honorable Eugene H. Austin of the New Jersey Superior Court, George served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, Special Prosecutions Unit, where he prosecuted financial fraud and identity theft, and argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
