Cape Cod / Boston — Associate Attorneys Sought for Business-Focused Practice Development
Members of the Barnstable County Bar Association:
I am a Massachusetts attorney with over 30 years of experience seeking 2–3 associate attorneys who are interested in helping to develop and grow a sophisticated business-oriented law practice based on Cape Cod, with additional office space available in Boston.
My practice has been concentrated in Business Law, Business Litigation, Corporate Law, Closely Held Corporations, Bankruptcy Law, Creditors’ Rights, Contract Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Commercial Lending, Intellectual Property, and related commercial disciplines.
This is not a traditional associate hiring arrangement. My goal is to build the practice collaboratively, providing the necessary infrastructure, mentorship, and oversight. I will furnish office space on the Cape (near client base) and in Boston, and will work closely with associates on legal work, strategy, and business development. Earlier in my career, I successfully trained and developed young attorneys in Boston, and I welcome the opportunity to do so again on Cape Cod.
Ideal candidates will:
• Be licensed (or soon to be licensed) in Massachusetts
• Possess strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Be interested in business-focused legal work
• Be entrepreneurial, collegial, and motivated to develop professionally
This is a unique opportunity for attorneys who seek meaningful mentorship, the ability to grow in complex business areas, and the chance to participate in building a high-level practice in a desirable and growing Cape Cod legal market.
